Erika has 10 years experience as a Real Estate Agent. She has extensive knowledge of the industry. Her passion, enthusiasm, and attention to detail are the reasons that she has successfully helped hundreds of individuals and families settle into their dream homes, and happy owners rapidly sell there properties above market value. In addition to her extensive experience as a Real Estate agent, Erika has a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the Miami School of Art, and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from Florida International University.

Before working in the Real Estate industry, Erika worked for a boutique firm that manages an ultra- luxurious residential ship that circumnavigates the World. Her experience with that firm helped her launch her career as a Real Estate professional in 2005 when she became licensed in Florida.

Prior to moving to Houston, Erika was an investor in the Condo and Town home Market in the Brickell and Downtown areas of her hometown Miami where she participated in the emergence of the Brikell/Downtown area and saw the skyline change over the next ten years.

Erika’s Real Estate experience in South Florida included upscale luxury leases in South Beach, Key Biscayne, Brickell, Downtown, Bal Harbour, and Aventura.
She also renovated, furnished, decorated, and outfitted upscale ocean-front vacation homes for her clients in addition to managing and leasing the properties.

During this period of time, Erika created a niche market wherein she assisted surgeons relocating from New York to Brickell while they completed their fellowship training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Based on one referral in this niche market, Erika was able to closed out a stunning 26 leases in a remarkable three month period of time.

Erika moved to Houston 2014, and she has fallen in love with city and the people. She has brought her passion and talent in Real Estate and Interior Design to Space City.
Erika obtained her Texas Real Estate license in September, and shortly thereafter she advised an important developer and his builders on the finishes for a home under construction.

Erika’s expertise allowed her to obtain the listing of that fabulous single family home in the Upper Kirby district, which is listed for $1,290,000.

There isn't enough room here to write all the good things about working with Erika. I was on the hunt for a house for 7months with Erika leading the charge. She didn't stop until she found exactly what I wanted. She was available whenever I had a question and handled my negotiations flawlessly. I went through several agents before her and thank god, because I found her and she is the best.

My fiancée and I are first-time homebuyers — to say that the idea of buying a home was daunting for us is a vast understatement. If had we not connected with Erika when we started our search for a home, it likely would have remained just that — a nice, anxiety-filled idea — as I doubt we would have ever made it past the initial stages on our own. Honestly, when we embarked on this journey, I was was highly skeptical that we would be able to find something that fit our criteria within our modest budget; however, Erika impressively delivered, and managed to find us a home that is exactly what we were looking for, and in our top-choice neighborhood, Montrose, which has become especially pricey in recent years. In fact, she found us more than one — through her assistance, we were posed with the opposite problem, of having to decide between multiple homes that were each a \u201Cperfect fit\u201D for us. Now, we are on the brink of confidently putting in an offer on one of them, and are feeling great about our decision and well-equipped for the final stages of this process — all thanks to Erika.

Before we got in touch with Erika, we had been feeling extremely overwhelmed, because the only homes we found online that appeared to meet our criteria were far outside of our budget. We quickly resolved that if we were going to come out of this process as homeowners, we were going to have to make considerable compromises, and settle for something less than ideal; however, we felt so relieved after just a short conversation with Erika, who reassured us that what we were looking for is indeed out there, and that we were going to find it. Then, to our surprise, within a matter of hours she emailed us with half-a-dozen viable options, and had already scheduled appointments for us to tour each of them the following day.

Upon meeting Erika in person, we quickly noticed and appreciated her commitment to us, and to of all her clients, for that matter. She was extremely patient with us, despite our indecisiveness, and we never felt rushed or pressured in any way. Similarly, she never urged us to move forward with something that were were not completely satisfied with. From the onset, she made it clear that her top priority was to find us not only a home that met our basic requirements and needs, but also one that we would be happy living in, for years to come.

Furthermore, because of our limited budget, the homes in our price range were typically older constructions, featuring relatively small rooms and seemingly awkward layouts. Erika’s experience as a designer proved to be extremely valuable in this regard, as she constantly discovers creative ways to utilize any space optimally, and communicates her vision of a space’s \u201Cfull potential\u201D very clearly.

Finally, she has an impressively keen eye for the \u201Chidden treasures\u201D on the market, by virtue of her extensive experience as an agent. For example, we were totally unenthusiastic about one of the properties we were scheduled to tour, which featured unmemorable pictures and a dull description on its listing. We felt so strongly that this appointment would be a waste of time that we asked her to cancel it; however, we hesitantly obliged her, when she urged us to see it anyway, insisting that she had a good feeling about it. Sure enough, her instinct proved to be correct, once again displaying her expertise, and we were pleasantly surprised by the walkthrough of this particular home, which is now our top choice.

Using Erika as our agent was easily the best decision we made throughout this process, and any buyer would be lucky to have her \u201Cin their corner\u201D. We can not thank her enough for transforming this previously stressful experience into an enjoyable one, and for ultimately for finding us the home of our dreams.
